Too much Fun at TenSecond Studios today!

Well went and got some things accomplished At TenSeconds Studio today...It is so much fun when you work around others than always alone although alone time is good too....Thought I was doing good until three rolled along and pain started up good, guess I pushed a good day right off into the gutter...Megan is always fun and as usual my project morphed itself into something better under the studio roof, will post pics of the canvas I working on . It is still in peices at this time and just wanted to get a post up here while I had a chance... Here are some stamps that I very roughly carved out to us in my journals. Had not shown them so here they are. They kind of blurry sorry! First ones I have ever attempted since High School and man that was a long time ago...70's but then that is ancient to my grandkidds...LOL

Scrapstashers projects

Well today was a better day sleep wise after my trip to the sleep doctor yesterday. Really did not know if I needed to try to go to my favorite classes from http://www.cr8joyworkshops.com , I love it because I use my items from home and you really never know what you are making till you get there , except when she tells you to bring a canvas or a plate like these done on August for the canvas and the plate that we did this morning.

The canvas was painted black before class and then we brought our strips of scraps and bling and walla we made a canvas ...Oh she told us to bring a black 12x12 cardstock and she cut all of our sheets there on the cricut....

The plate was this time and I chose a cheap gold plate charger hince the reasons the pics did not come out too clear, too much glare. told us to bring glossy mod podge glue dots, rubons, and papers to go with our plate choice and colors in pictures, ribbon and buttons. I chose not to use ribbon since mine was all kinda heritage looking so used a lot of my old family buttons a lot of which were mother of pearl, brass,or pearl, some black ones too. this one ids of my hubbys family so now I need to do one for mine to go with it, think I am gonna hang them in my room..not sure yet...Till next time keep crafting and scrapping those memories.

Creation thru pain

Thought I would post some pics of what I have been working on to try and zone out my pain....These pics show the pages I made with layers of recycled newspaper as seen on Donna Downy's blog and website. Used some Ten Seconds Ivory metal to emboss with my cuttle bug folders and then sanded I may still go in and add some of the medical journal colors that I used on the front and back before I am thru and then my first set of pages are shown.....

These are more of the pages in part and how I feel about some of the mess going on with me...
Walking right now seems to unnerve my nerve and disc problem which is so wonderful.

I am not in pain all the time but the use of my arms and hands gets weirder every day, can't wait till my pain management visit and to learn more of what is going on and possibly get some relief... Go back for results of the sleep study tomorrow, We will see what they come up with..

hey found this tonight and was something that clicked with me...Still in pain and waiting for pain management visit on 22nd. Felt bad earlier today and decided to get out in the rain anyways and went to my local Michaels and was really impressed with their make over there got some really cool trinkets of Tim Hotz, and some cool papers. Stuff that they normally don't carry. I have so missed or scrapbooking stores being gone. Now I am only a half mad at losing them now that there is lots of new goodies to go after....I am rambling and meds are starting to kick in so ontill next time ....One of His unique creations...Denise

Updates on all going on!

My health has been a factor here the last couple of months and still having to go through tests with different specialists. Having more pain than I want to have and it is ruling me and that is not good because I want to do so much and it isn't letting me.....UGH!!! Go for a sleep study all Thursday night till 6am the next day...The doc had the audacity to ask if I thought I could fall asleep on my own with wires hooked up to my head chest feet and fingers...Duhh how many do you think say yes when they are there because they can't sleep, That was the most stupid question I have been asked from all these Doctors....sooooo taking LUNISTA to go nitey nite~ Thursday nite.....Pain management visit isn't till Sept. 22 and really wish it was sooner.
Today Jami and Jason had me come help with a project for Jason's little league football this year. Did not feel like doing it but pain and swelling of feet of my feet aren't really much worse than they were yesterday. Thought we did pretty good so far on the banner, we spray painted it over and over and over with the plastic spray paint to get the vinyl covered but looks pretty darn good if I say so myself..Still gotta put a pocket for a rod for them to be able to hold it on game days , but that is for another day....hopefully several days away if Jason got my drift before I left the house tonite...

Well Wesley is doing better and looks like GOD gave us another miracle for him. He is eating and has yet to get sick. He is healing still and still needs prayers but so far so good. Terri said the back of his skull is healing pretty good this time and that's with so much larger an incision into his brain this time..PRAISE GOD for answering our prayers thus far....

Gonna have to go to bed my meds are starting to kick in...
